Florida appeared to be in a quiet, trouble-free stretch as far as legal issues go, but the Miami Herald reported today that offensive lineman Trip Thurman was arrested in June and September.
Thurman, 20, was cited for possession of a fake driver’s license June 15. That charge was a felony, but Thurman agreed to deferred prosecution Sept. 25. Two days later, he was arrested for underage possession of alcohol.

A spokesperson for the Florida football program did not return a message seeking comment late Friday.
Thurman is a red-shirt freshman who missed most of last season due to shoulder surgery. He is the 10th player arrested in Will Muschamp’s two years as coach.
